Make sure you answer the question. If there are two parts to a question ensure you answer both. Revision Advice.

A good piece of advice when it comes to answering essay based questions is show that you understand the question. You can do this simply by answering it, and not going off at a tangent bringing out irrelevant points.

Try to impress the examiner with your knowledge of the subject material but keep things relevant...

I came across a great website that makes GCSE English and GCSE English Literature learning songs, its called LearnThruMusic www.learnthrumusic.co.uk.

I have told my class and some of the students have downloaded the songs. The of Mice and Men song is a particular favorite.

It is great to see my students exited about learning, they are even getting together and singing along to the learning songs as a form of revision.
